Four-week series: $60
Registration deadline - Friday, October 23.
You’re active, health-conscious, and interested in yoga but unsure where to begin.
Chair yoga doesn’t feel like enough, yet stepping into an established, heated, or faster-paced class doesn’t feel right either. This is the place in between.
This four-week series offers a knowledgeable, supportive place to start. Each class follows a consistent structure and builds gradually, giving you time to learn the foundations, ask questions, and become comfortable with the practice.
We’ll work with diaphragmatic breathing, body awareness, pelvic stability, foundational seated and standing poses, balance, and guided relaxation. You’ll learn how to use props intelligently, adapt poses to your body, and find the amount of effort that builds strength and stability without unnecessary strain.
You’ll also explore how breathing and focused movement can settle a busy mind, improve concentration, and help you feel more grounded. The goal is not to perform a pose or reach a particular depth. It is to develop a strong, sustainable yoga practice that supports how you want to keep living.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. Participants should be able to manage the studio stairs and move independently between standing and the floor.
This series will run with a minimum of six registered participants. Max 10 participants. Enrollment will be confirmed once the minimum has been met. You will be notified via email on Saturday, October 24.
Registration closes Friday, October 23. Cancellations made by that date are eligible for a refund. After October 23, registration fees are nonrefundable unless the series is canceled because minimum enrollment has not been met, in which case all registration fees will be refunded in full.
